About Me

My name is Shanette Dawn Peters. I am 46, a mother of two and I have worked with animals all my life. Over 20 years ago the company I worked for sent me to Seattle, Washington for a 6 week in-depth hands on grooming course, which included information on dog behavior. Since then I have had the pleasure of extending my knowledge with other courses online, and distance learning (few of which mentioned below).

I am a certified Pet Stylist and a member of the CAPDT (Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers).

I have also taken other courses such as:

I have some basic knowledge of ASL (American Sign Language) and continue trying to become more fluent in ASL. 

My passion for animals has allowed me to expand my personal and work experience history beyond dogs and cats, to birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, snakes and lizards, etc. With knowledge on basic animal husbandry, and strive to help those who want to learn more.
